This week, I finished Invisible by Christina Diaz Gonzalez and Gabriela Epstein. I sat down and read it in one sitting. It’s beautifully written and illustrated and does an amazing job making the characters feel very real.

I knew that my daughter was serious about her now husband when they MERGED THEIR LEMONY SNICKET COLLECTIONS. If you don’t have a duplicate of a favorite book, then I guess you have to stay together forever. I loved Zevin’s Elsewhere but Tomorrow was too… grown up for me? Worth taking a look at definitely. Made me wish I hadn’t gotten rid of my copy of Seth’s Golden Gate.
I have both the Zevin & the Kingsolver books & still need to read them. Someday! I love Ruzzier’s books, will look forward to the post about them. Have a good week this week, Ricki!
I read Invisible recently and really liked it too, Ricki—I’m glad you got to try it! And I’ve heard great things about Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow as well—I have a family member who really liked it. Thanks so much for the wonderful post!
I really enjoyed Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. Even though I am not a gamer I enjoyed reading about some of the old school games like Oregon Trail. Demon Copperhead is amazing. Kellee, hope to see you at ALA if you’ll be there this year.
